• AdvantageCare Rehabilitation was founded by Amy Hancock in 2003 to provide long term care facilities a better contract therapy option than large national therapy companies that were steadily decreasing services to facilities in response to sweeping reductions in Medicare reimbursements.


• Advantage Home Health Services was founded by Amy Hancock in 2006 to expand the Advantage Continuum of Care by serving the ongoing nursing and therapy needs of patients as they left long-term care facilities.


• AdvantageCare Consulting was founded in 2008 to provide long term care facilities with audit, cost management and management consulting services that help improve patient outcomes and business operations.


• Amy Hancock named one of Pittsburgh’s Top 25 Women in Business in February 2009.


• Amy Hancock named one of Pennsylvania’s Top 50 Women in Business in April 2009.


• Amy Hancock named as a Finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in May 2009.


• In June 2009 Amy Hancock was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Professional Services category for Upstate New York, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia region.
